Need transportation from a hotel near MCO (we're landing at like midnight so we're sleeping nearby before heading to the resort) to BC for 4 of us plus A LOT of luggage. We really need to stop at the store on the way, though. I think a car service is our best bet vs. uber. I don't like the idea of using magical express because I would have to lug all the bags back to the airport and i'm already lugging them to the hotel, up to the hotel room, down from the hotel room, etc. So, who do you recommend? TIA!

We’ve used Tiffany Town Car many times, usually great service and they include a grocery stop (although we’ve never used them for this). You can reserve an SUV which it sounds like you may need given the amount of luggage.

We've used Quicksilver to transfer from a Universal resort to WDW resort. I found them very good.
I’m confused though on why you’d have to lug your luggage from room to DME and airport? Bell service will bring your luggage down from room and Airport Desk will check you and your luggage in. Unless you’re like me and live outside of the US, airport Desk can’t check your luggage thru :sad1: so I had the luggage service guys at MCO take my suitcases from DME to Airline luggage Check. I used to be able to check my luggage at WDW resort since my flight lands in the US then get my connection to Canada. But I think security has changed the rules, and now have to show passport at Airport check in. Ugh.

i'm unclear on what you're unclear about. LOL

The first hotel we're staying at is not a disney property. it's just a room near the airport because we're landing after midnight that first night. So, we are staying one night near the airport and then in the morning, i've gotta get us (and all of our luggage) over to BC. i also need to go to the grocery store. If I do DME to get to BC, I'll have to get my luggage from my hotel near the airport and get it back to the airport instead of just getting my luggage and going to BC. Does that make more sense?

I think I've ruled out uber because I'll have to go to BC first then back out so it will be 3 uber rides (one from hotel to BC, one from BC to store, one from store to BC.) I *think* that will be more expensive than doing the car service, but maybe i'm wrong on that...

Tony Hinds (aobh607@gmail.com) is exactly what you are looking for. He has a large (10 person I believe) van and will do a grocery stop. He is adored on the Universal DIS forums (if you want to check it out). I've used him several times and is a class act.
