Recieved a handcrafted, beautiful Disney scrapbook for Xmas!

OMG! I got the BEST Xmas present ever.

The young people I know, also know that I *love* Disney. (I'm pretty old.)

So..the munchkins got together and handmade a scrapbook. I don't mean they bought a scrapbook and filled it. I mean, they created the scrapbook completely by hand, using thin cardboard, and tying pages with silver ribbon.

The scrapbook covers are made out of bright Disney and Christmas paper, while the inside has a compliation of my own personal trips to Disney (old theme park passes, maps, etc). I'd had a box of Disney things to scrapbook, but hadn't done it yet.

All done by little hands. Everyone who worked on the project was a kid. It wasn't even the idea of any of the adults we know. It was all thought of by kids. What could be a more awesome present?

Completely wonderful and amazing. I'm so pleased. I need to buy a fireproof box to keep it in..otherwise I'd probably want to keep in a bank safe.

I had my kids at my job do something simmlar once. We did one with footprints on the cover (all 8 of the babies), the kids pictures on the pages, and the captions on it writen by the older ones (but said by the little ones). Was a real PITA to orginize (behind the one teachers back) but it was worth it just for the look on her face when she opened it. She sobbed so hard the kids were afraid Miss Peggy would die. lol.
