Does anyone know if you are able to book just a reception with a Wishes wedding? I have enough people that we will meet the F/B Minimum...

We are currently having a ceremony at the Swan and Dolphin, and we were going to have the reception at Il Mulino, but when we visited the restaurant we didn't really like it, it wasn't our style. Then we looked into Fulton's, and while we LOVE fulton's and it suits us quite perfectly, our guest count is slowly creeping up towards 90, and Fulton's can only do 80. Sooooo, now I'm going out o my mind on what to do now.... I suck at wedding planning, I thought I would be soooo good too. Guess not. I am getting some pricing information back from the Swan and Dolphing ballrooms and stuff, but the swan side is all booked up, and they are checking into the Dolphin... so I will keep my fingers crossed.

Anyways, I was just thinking how it would be cool to do a wishes wedding still, but I don't want to lose the money for ceremony at the Swan, especially since that is one detail that is nailed down and I have no worries about it! Sooo I was thinking that just a wishes reception could be doable... :confused3

You also have to meet the overall minimum which is $10K++ for a Breakfast/Brunch reception (all week), $12K++ for a functions beginning after 2:00pm (Mon.-Thurs.) and $15K++ for function beginning after 2:00pm (Fri.-Sun.)

+ 6.5% tax
++ 21% gratuity (applies to all F&B)

Thanks so much! That helps... those numbers are actually what I though the food and bev minimums were, so I know we would meet those with 90 ppl...

We had a reception through Disney, our wedding was off site. You are correct though you will had to meet all the same minimums as everyone else.
