We are getting married at 11.00am at Sunset Pointe. We are having trouble deciding where to hold our Reception. Everywhere appears to be closed at lunchtime!!

Does anyone have any suggestions?

Thanks,
Andy

We are thinking about having our wedding at Disney and have looked into having a brunch at the California Grill. It is a really neat location and seems to be a little more budget friendly. We are currently trying to figure out if we can really make our wedding work at Disney, but would love to have it there! Anyway, California Grill is only open for dinner, therefore there is no extra charge for having a reception there. You do have to use their menus as a basis, but they have a couple of private rooms for smaller parties and the main room holds about 125. Just a thought. I posted a question asking if anyone else knew anything further about it, but so far only one reply.

I am in the same predicament, and we are planning on having a tea at the Grand Floridian or having lunch while on a specialty cruise since we are having our wedding at SBP. You could always just get back together for dinner, just ask for your cake to be sent to the restraunt at night and they can serve fruit with your champagne after your wedding. Just a few thoughts!

That's exactly what we now plan to do. After the ceremony and cake cutting etc., go to the GF for Afternoon Tea. A very British thing to do since we are from Over the Pond!!

We still plan to go on the Illuminations Cruise in the evening.

Thanks for the suggestions,
Andy
