Hi everyone! I'm looking into having my wedding in disney but I have a few questions still...

I want a traditional dance at my wedding reception, since they offer a dj in the planning service I assume that's possible, has anyone done it?

Also, they say that the evening meals must be $125 min per person but I keep seeing all of these other prices... I'm confused. Why even shop around if I'm automatically paying $125 per person?

Any advice would be greatly appreciated :)

You can have a traditional reception at DIsney, they have ballrooms and other locations that will fit into what you want.

What they mean by $125/person for dinners is that everything you do the wedding day whether it be drinks, cocktail appetizers, dinner and dessert must equal $125. This could even include a dessert party at Epcot or MGM as long as it's done on the wedding day. You will easily hit that minimum if you plan to have a tradition wedding with pre-reception, reception and dessert party.

The other minimums you hear about are the location minimums. Each location like the ballrooms or special locales like the Attic or a restuarant has a food and beverage minimum you need to meet. I'm having my lunch reception at the Napa Room, their f&b minimum is $1k for lunch. I'll be going over that a bit but it's a pretty low one.
