Hello,

Can anyone suggest an offsite restaurant for a dinner for our small group (6-8 people) in which I can wear my wedding dress and that does not have too much of an exotic menu?
Our wedding isn't in Disney, it is in Celebration.

Thanks so much for your suggestions!

You can go to any Downtown Disney restaurant or any resort restaurants and wear your gown.
Check out the restaurant boards for their extremely detailed reviews!

It would be a little bit of a drive, but International Drive and the Dr. Phillips area (Sand Lake Road) have some really nice restaurants. Dr. Phillips tends to be a little more upscale and pricey. If that is not an issue Seasons 52 is absolutely fabulous. (They boast nothing in the restaurant is over 450 calories, and they don't cook with any butter!!!) On International Drive, they have almost any kind of restaurant you can think of. My personal fav is Cafe TuTu Tango, but I think that is a little of the exotic side. I really can't think of anything off of 192 in Kississimmee. I agree with the other poster above, DTD has some good selections. If you were possibly thinking of City Walk at Universal, I would rethink that. THere restaurants are ok, but you will be walking a really long distance from the parking lot to the restaurant. Here is a website for Orlando tourist information. It will have listings of the millions of restaurants in the Orlando area. http://www.orlandoinfo.com/

GL with the planning.

What about the Celebration hotel? they have great food...Also the Columbia is very nice

There is a restaurant called Chatham's Place. It is very intimate and the food is killer! It is the only Zagat rated restaurant in Orlando! It is a little pricey but I can assure you it is worth it. It is off of Sandlake road and Dr. Phillips. http://www.chathamsplace.com/

Another place close to Chatham's where we had the dinner for my parents vow renewal was Roy's. A Hawaiian Fusion restaurant! AWESOME

Also if you are already in Celebration Columbia is quite nice as well. I hope this helps!

YUM! I love Roy's!! I travel for my job and whenever I am near one I always eat there! It can get a bit pricey though. But oh those pineapple martini's are my fav!
They are usually very pretty inside too!

If you and your party enjoy sushi or Japanese food Amura is near Roy's and it's my overall favorite restaurant in Orlando!

I agree! These are two wonderful choices. There is also a great steak restaurant right outside of Celebration called Charlie's. It is really wonderful!

Here is a right-up on Columbia:

Columbia, Florida’s oldest restaurant, brings its rich Spanish décor and fine tradition of incredible Spanish-Cuban cuisine to MARKET STREET. Specialties include the world-famous 1905 Salad and Arroz con Pollo (chicken and yellow rice), with a wide selection of other authentic Spanish-Cuban seafood, chicken, beef, and pork dishes. Columbia also features a large selection of fine wines and a Tapas and Cigar Bar.

Happy planning!
