Receoved e-mail from WL Concierge

I made initial contact with the staff at WL today and Conan wrote me back. He included the planner as an attachment to the e-mail but I can't open it up I have Vista and this was from Office 97 Anyone know how I can get the attachment to open I need an icon showing the smiley beating the computer with a hammer so for now it is

Have you tried downloading openoffice and using that to open the file. My guess is that you don't have word on your machine. Also you could email back asking them to send you it in PDF instead.

FYI Disney has been having problems with therir emails but really don't want to admit it I have received 5 emails regarding my ressie & each time I open them , they are blank. I called back they resent same thing. Finally I called back & talk to Guest Relations & they told me they were having problems so she sent it later in week along with a hard copy by mail.

Email back the Club level planners & ask them to send it Adobe file. I have Vista as well & gotten all my club level okay. Good luck

Vista has nothing to do with Office 97. There are Office readers on the internet that should allow you to open a Word file.

Do you have google or gmail? If you do, you can open it under documents in your gmail account.If not, ask them to send it opened IN the email itself w/o the attachment.

Thank you very much for this link. I had Office 2007 (the 90 day trial) downloaded and was still unable to open things. So thank you thank you thank you. If I could take the programs out of my PC and put it on this I would. But alas, the PC doesn't power up....I don't know what to do obviously
