We are leaving for WDW in 1 week (yeeaaaaah!). This will be our first big trip since DS (just turned 4) has been fully potty-trained. He was late to potty train (about 3 1/2), and although he rarely has accidents during the day, we still put him in pullups at night because he sometimes wakes up wet. Even though he hardly ever naps during the day anymore, he may nap for a little while at the parks since there will be so much activity. We will have our double stroller with us, so he and DS (2) will be able to nap in it.
My concern is...what do I do about possible accidents while he is napping? Since we will be driving 12 hours to WDW (and much of it before dawn), I plan to put him in a pullup for the drive since he will be sleeping for the first few hours. But I don't want to do this during the day at the parks. And since I won't know when he might want to nap, that would be hard to plan for anyway. I'm concerned about him going out cold for a long, hard nap and having an accident. He would be really upset to wake up wet at Disney World, and then the stroller padding would be wet and stained. Of course I will have changes of clothes with me, but should I plan on bringing something to put underneath him in the stroller? Plastic bags?
Has anyone else had this concern? Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Paula
