recently back from VB and VWL!

this was our first time at VB and our second stay at VWL.

VB is great very relaxing. The activities for the children are nice, they loved the pool and my baby boy loved the Pirate ship! I liked the slow pace and my older son loved the campfires!

we had an Inn room with a great view of the ocean. The room was large and it was fine for 4 of us.


VWL as usual were wonderful. It is an extremely well kept up resort. Our room was close to the elevator this year ( thankgoodness) 5517 nice view location.

we did things we did not do last year so it was great. We did all 4 parks and relaxed a day or two ( thats the NEW thing!)

we also ate a different restaurants this year we took the kids to the San Angel inn both loved it and I think the festive atmosphere kept their attention.
It was a great vacation!

I'm so glad you had a great vacation. It's also nice to get a good report about my home, VWL, as well. Isn't DVC great for making memories!

I have to agree Luv......My older DS just loves it and considers it like a second home. It is great !

Aurora! We're leaving tomorrow for an exact copy of your vacation! We have an Inn room, ocean view booked and then off to VWL for our first trip home!!! We all can't wait! I'm glad to hear that VB has kid activities, because my DD (and only child) sometimes needs to have help finding a friend. Any other activities that you could recommend for a 10 yd old? Thanks

Does an Inn room have the same kitchenette set-up as the studios? (fridge, microwave, and coffeemaker) How do they compare to a studio at BWV?

The Inn rooms do have the kitchenette set-up. Because of the shape of the building, the rooms are in different configurations with different size balconies but, basically, they are very similar to a studio. One difference over BWV is that the room has 2 queen beds rather than the bed/sofa combo.

Have a great time my son is turning 10 ( while my other is 2) so he too needs to "meet friends". We werent there long enough for him to make real friends but in the pool he found a bunch of kids to play with. Check the daily activity sheet and register EARLY things closed up quickly at VB unbirthday party, fishing expeditions, crafts, making airplanes, cel painting etc!
