Hi to any who have sailed recently on the Wonder.

I remember reading a thread that said based on guest feedback clocks would be added to all staterooms.

Well, I'm packing now and my questions is:

Are there clocks in the staterooms????

;) Thanks:p

They were not there when we disembarked on Sept. 8th.

I saw that post too, but the logistics make me Wonder if this is really going to happen. These are my observations:

1) Just where are they going to put the clock? The end table moves depending on the bed setup and I've have never found an outlet on that wall? And between the phone and lamp there is just no space left.

2) if the put it on the desk, lets see, take over the only available outlet, and I don't know about anyone else, but that area is the catch all for everything, you'll never be able to read it.

3) you can get a wake up call on your phone

4) you can dial 7-TIME to get the current time

5) the tv schedule left in your stateroom on embarkation says the current ship time can be found on channel xx. Which is a channel that scrolls thru several screens with ship information one of which is a clock.

6) I just use my Timex watch (Atlantis 200), since I can't see beyond 6 inches w/o my glasses, It has a backlight an alarm, and is water resistant, and 2 time zones.

7) Just who is going to make sure the time is correct.

Thank you Tony!

I kind of figured it wasn't going to happen and your post brings me to my next question....

If indeed there are no clocks I would like to bring along a small digital clock....the only problem is I don't have any that are battery operated. Is there an outlet in a place that it would be convenient to have a clock that you could see from the bed?

Thanks again!

here is the best photo I could find quickly.

starting with the curtain on the right side, you sort of see part of the TV, to the left of the tv is the outlet in the desk area. And you can plug somethng in behind the TV, in the unused 1/2 of the outlet. If the curtains are drawn between the bed and the couch area you won't even see the TV. Let alone the desk area. And next to the bed you can see how there is no space on the end table.

By the way if this is the Freeport 4 day, can you pick up an extra set of nav's for us.

Yes, it is the Freeport 4 day and yes I sure will send you the navigators!

We decided against the clock. We will use wakeup calls. It's just that if I wake during the night I like to know the time so I guess it means I need my glasses and my watch handy!

Thanks for all the info!
