Just got back from a quick trip Saturday 2/25, returning home yesterday 3/1.

We had 1 big meal per day (dinner).

Saturday: Cape May Cafe
Sunday: Concourse Steakhouse
Monday: Boma
Tuesday: California Grill

I'll be glad to answer any questions you might have!

Can you tell me about Concourse Steakhouse? Any food/desserts you tried? How was the service and atmosphere? Was it crowded or fairly empty? Thank you!!

Always been curious about Concourse Steakhouse myself -- always seems to get reviews in the C+ range on these boards and you rarely hear anyone say they really, really enjoyed it.
How 'bout Bomas, one of our favorites? We're returning there in August and can't wait!!

Tell me about Cape May. I had ADRs there when I went a few weeks ago but loved KONA so much I cancelled and went to KONA again (plus we were staying at the Polynesian so it was just easier!). Anyway, tell me how you liked it. Plus I know it sounds dumb but how did you get there? I read it was a four minute walk from Epcot but ... is it hard to find??? I can see me wandering the swamp looking for the Beach Resort!!

Don't mean to be a thread-stealer, but we REALLY REALLY enjoy Concourse Steakhouse. The food is delicious, and the atmosphere is SO quiet (with the exception of the monorail of course). Heck, the waitress here stole my sunglasses, and I still go back! :teeth:

Concourse Steakhouse... We thought it was pretty good. Was relative empty but a decent crowd of folks. Menu is not huge but it is steakhouse fare... Good appetizers, steaks were pretty good as well... Dessert... We had the Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee and it was very creamy and yummy.... Overall, we both liked the Concourse Steakhouse...

Cape May Cafe: One of our favorites. We usually eat here at least once on our trips down to WDW. Even tough I'm not a seafood fan, there is plenty here to keep me satisified. Before last week, the last time we were here was New Year's 2005. IMOP, the food quality was better now. We stayed at Old Key West and usually rent a car so it was an easy drive. I love the Cape May and have eaten there since the BC openend in 1991 and it is a great place for a small couple or a larger group. The staff is courteous and attentive if you are a pleasureable group.

Boma: This was our first time trying Boma. I like trying new things and places in WDW and based upon folks reviews, etc. I thought we should try it. Overall, the place is very cool and the variety of dishes was impressive. We tried a little bit of everything. There were some things we liked and some things we did not. Overall, not a place we would go with younger adults and probably not a place we might put into a 'rotation'. I expectex exotic and that's what you get there... Just not sure I like the exotic.

California Grill: A place in our regular 'rotation' at WDW. Dinner was very good, our wait service was good. No rush on us to move through diner quickly. If you go here, you've got to prepare yourself for a 2 hour stay. I like the menu and choices... They are not for everyone. Compare this to many high end places here in NYC and I paid less than I did 1 week earlier here in NYC for dinner. Plus, the CG food and service were much better... I don't feel that prices here are out of league. The food was very good, the wine selection is impressive and this is a great adult-oriented restaurant in WDW.
