Recent Report on Park Openings?

Any reports of how park opening worked today. Did the gates open earlier than the stated times for both Extra Magic Hour and regular parks? If they let people in early, were they held inside in the park until the opening time or were you able to get on attractions?(We've seen it work both ways the last several Christmas weeks) Any reports from today or the last few days would be appreciated. Heading down in 2 days!

At MK, since the "rope drop show" happens about 15 min. before the posted "opening time," they MUST let guests into the area in front of the train station much earlier in order form them to see the show.

At the other parks, for EMH, don't expect to be let in much earlier than the posted EMH time.
On non-EMH days, expect to be let in 15-30 minutes before the posted time, but to be stopped at a "holding area"
and then released very close to the posted "opening time."

Does this sometimes vary?
Yes. But, don't count on it most days.
