It's huge! I took this picture on 12/4. It looks like the track goes into a tunnel or underground at some point. This should be a great ride!

The ride won't be open until I believe 2006. Anyhow, that's already come along way from when I was there in September.

All I've seen is 2006 also. What do you think the odds are that it will be open for "preview" type preopening rides in Nov. '05. Anyone have any perspective on this?

Last time I was at AK was Jan '04. Ground was broken and they seemed to be humming along then. It is great to see they seem to be making steady progress on this attraction. I, for one, cannot wait to ride this one!

....I do believe I've read somewhere that it DOES go underground! And, as for the tunnel/mountain part, it goes BACKWARDS!! I, for one, cannot wait for this to open!! (BTW ~ cool pic!)

We were just there and saw the work on it. It's fun to see it being built and will be even more fun seeing it when it's complete.
