I woke up first- I am a early riser and can not sleep while on vacation. I went out the french doors onto the bay and watched the sun rise. No one else was out yet and it was so quiet and peaceful! I walked over to the Glelateria and got an iced coffee( the coffee here is incredible!) By the time I got back to the room the boys were stirring. We made our way over to Trattoria and got the breakfast buffet. This is my all-time favorite buffet anywhere! The place was empty and we got our favorite server- Mohammad. He is one of the nicest people in the world and our son just loves him. He definately has a gift with children.
After breakfast we headed to the boat and were lucky enough to have one waiting. We arived at Universal Studios right after they opened. The place was empty! We headed to ET first. Sorry but I just love this ride! After ET we headed to Woody's coaster and DH and DS rode it over and over. Next stop was Jaws- I love this ride also! We had a great captain - that sure makes a difference, doesn't it? It was also the first time that I had ridden it that I did not get soaked! By this time we were getting a little hungry for a snack so we stopped at the walk-up place that sells chicken and fish. My son loves that fish! We sat outside on a table by the water and just relaxed. I love this place!!
Next up was the Mummy for my husband. DS and I just walked around and looked at the sets- I especially love the N.Y. area. A few minutes later DH calls on cellphone and says there is no line and he is riding again. Not long after he calls AGAIN and say he is riding again.. and again...
He loves this ride!
It is getting warm and DS is tiring so we decide to head out of the park for awhile. We head back to City Walk and see that NBA City is empty. We go in and DS has hamburger and fries, DH has steak sandwich and I have a beer. It was a pretty nice place.
We take boat back to rooms and just chill out for a couple of hours. It was SO nice to be located right by the boat dock- it make coming and going so easy. It was nice to be able to sit right outside the room on the bay also. I think this is my favorite location at the PB so far.
More to come later...tonight was DS and DH's surprise birthday dinner!
