Recent opinions about Sweet Tomatoes LBV

This buffet sound very interesting. We would love to try it out on our first evening for dinner. We are renting a car & staying at CBR. Any recent reviews about this restaurant near Crossroads?

I was last there in December. We were a table of 5 and all enjoyed it.

Clean and all was replenished often enough.

For those that are from the west coast, this is SoupplantatiOn. They are the exact same company, just different names. I know they have gone downhill here, but that may be a locatiOn specific issue.

We ate here in February and loved it! There's a huge range of salad, and breads and soups and their desserts are AMAZING! Nice change from park food too

Positive here for the Crossroads location. We are down for 3 months and this is an easy place for us to get to. We go at least once a week. Might be a little pricey for the selection compared to Golden Corral for example, but everything is presented fresh, and soups and breads are excellent.

We visited in February (myself and 6 year old) and loved it! Very clean, lots of options great service.

I mentioned this in another thread about ST. They constantly monitor the temp of their food and maintain the food bars. Both my husband and son are in the food business and in fact my son works for a large seafood chain and goes all over the country doing sanitation and health inspections. He can look at a restaurant and point the good and bad especially when it comes to health violations. My son rarely goes to buffets but he loves ST. That is all I need to know b/c some of the pricier restaurant chains do not maintain the quality or the cleanliness that this place does.

The food is really great and you can choose what you eat so if you want to eat light and healthy you can but don't fool yourself you need to have willpower to do this and most people I see at ST do not. That is their choice or their fault the options are there if they want it. Problem is taken one item at a time they are all healthy with good calorie counts but when you take 10pieces of pizza and a huge fat free sundae the calories still add up. If anyone cares about it. If you are on a diet I say do not go b/c you will be too tempted.

Just wanted to report back! We did make it to Sweet Tomatoes for lunch on our arrival day. We loved it! If we have a rental car for our future WDW trips we will always try to have at least one meal there. We had lunch coupons from their website. $6.99 per adult & our DS is 11 so kids under 12 were $4.99. Awesome

We were there just couple of days ago. It was as good as it always is. The put out small amounts of food and constantly replenish it so everything is fresh.
