Hello. has anyone stayed at the Hawthorn suites LBV in the past few months??? all the reviews I found were several years old.... we usually stay at Embassy suites - LBV, but the prices just keep climbing. We were hoping the Hawthorn would be a more economical substitute?

Is the pool "large enough"?
Whats in the breakfast (pancakes????)?
Is the hotel in "good shape"?
Is it clean????????

thanks everyone.

We just made a reservation for a couple of nights in Oct. at this hotel. The reviews on tripadvisor look good enough for me, however if a great code comes out for a value or mod. inside Disney we may switch.

Hi,
I not sure if I'll be any help but...we stayed at the one on Canada drive and would highly recommend it. The rooms were spacious, clean. They had complimentary breakfast, cocktail hour (included snacks soft & alcoholic drinks) and travel to all the parks.
Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

:goodvibes Thanks so much for the reply. I hope your experience is representative of the chain. Thanks!

We have booked a 8 night stay at Hawthorn Suites, LBV in Sept. We have never stayed there before but our previous trip we stayed at Homewood Suites, LBV( they were fine but wanted to try someplace different) and both are very close to Downtown Disney.

We have read good things about them. I also read that they have cooking and eating utensils in the full kitchen to use. I see photos of the pool, it doesn't seem to be huge but for the very limited time my kids will be in it, it seems fine with me.

We mainly are staying there for location(close to Disney), space in the suite(3 kids ) full kitchen( possibly making meals ) free continental breakfast( variety of food, not packaged and did I say FREE) price( AAA rate of $80.00 a night) Hope that helps you. Have a great trip!!!

I stay at the one on Canada Avenue and it was awesome. The free breakfast was excellent. The rooms was clean and huge suites. They have full size fridge and stove and microwave in the suite. The pool was clean.. They have a mini store in the hotel that sell drinks and snacks. The only thing I did not was that they sold pespi products instead of coke at the store. I am southern it's not coke I don't drink it unless ice tea.:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

We stayed there right after they opened because we found a fantastic internet rate of $48/night! It was wonderful! Great food, nice rooms...the pool was kind of cold, though.
Sorry nothing more recent.

I just called and a one bedroom, 2 queen AAA rate was under $90 per night. I htink I may just abandon my villa idea and book there!
