I'm resurrecting this thread to post my recent experience . . .
Thursday, Feb 6 - arrived at 7:25 via Uber. We were 4th and 5th in line from the turnstiles. At about 8:15, they opened and we speed walked to the rope drop area near Pandora. I'm guesstimating that about 8:40ish (I didn't check the time), they slow walked us to the ride. We had a 2 minute wait and were off at 9:01 (the wait for FOP at that point was 120 minutes). Then we walked directly to Navi and waited maybe 15 minutes or so for that. Worked beautifully!!
Off topic note - After Navi, we headed over to Everest where the wait was only 15 minutes. We had a great day!
