Recent Experience With Pets at the Cabins

Has anyone stayed at the cabins with their pet recently? Are there hang tags to put outside the door to indicate to housekeeping that there is a dog inside? Nobody will enter with a pet inside unless you are also there, is that correct? We are traveling with our toy poodle.

That was our experience last July. We got a welcome kit at the check-in desk that had dog bowls, a mat, and a hang tag that we were instructed to put on the door whenever the dog was unattended. Housekeeping didn't come every day anyway, pretty much only when we requested towels.

We made a reservation for November. How bad is the pet smell when you enter the cabin?

I haven’t ever noticed a pet smell in the cabins, but then again I live with a dog and a cat.
