Recent Experience Exchanging QS Credit for Snack Credits?

I was just looking into this for our F&WF trip. The Disney Moms Panel states that QS credits may be converted to 3 snack credits, but it must be done in a single transaction. So for the festival booths you would have to buy 3 things from the same booth to be able to use the QS credit. I have no idea if you have to use all of the snack credits first. We just came back from F&GF and there were only a couple of times that we purchased 3 items from a single booth, so I am thinking this would not be such a good value for us.

I am confused. We plan to use snack credits at F&W. We are on the DDP and won't have a QS option. Was under the impression some of the booths sell certain food items labeled as "snacks."
Will we really have to use three snack credits for one item? I've been to F&W, but never purchased food with the dining plan ...

You CAN use your snack credits at the booths. You get one snack for one snack credit. The three you see us talking about are only if you want to use one of your QS meal credits to get snacks.

As much as I hate to say it, they don't know any more than we do. So unless the Mom answering had actually been to one of the EP food festivals in the last week AND had actually made the transaction, they are no more authoritative than what you're seeing here. I will say it again, "This has NEVER been a Disney policy, it's just been done in practice." One persons experience does not guarantee another person will have the same.

I'm just saying what happened at my resort - this week. I don't know about 2015 or august. I'm just telling you what happened to me a few days ago. It may have been different in 2015 or in august - it could be different tomorrow. All I'm saying is what happened in my situation. Take it for what it's worth but that was my experience.

We were at POR - they made us do 2 transactions. First one using all the snacks & then second one using the QS we had left. Came home with lots of Rice Krispie Mickey heads!! Lol!

We did FD in 2015 for 2 weeks, and flew our boys home 6 days before my wife and I left (school). We had a ton of meals left. Our resort flipped all of our unused meal credits (CS & TS) to snack credits on the last day. We had over 50 snack credits which we used to buy many, many things to bring home. They actually appeared as snack credits on our receipts, which made it easier for us. We were staying at CBR that year.

Agreed! But teenage son & friends at them all (20+) before the week was even done.
Oh well - guess it should have been expected!! Lol!!
