Recent events in Iraq make me sick...

I am so angry and disgusted with the recent killings in Iraq of US civilian contractors. I guess the killings aren't such a surprise, the Iraqis are doing that daily, but the things they are doing to their dead bodies is beyond comprehension. Dragging chared corpses from the vehicles and then beating them, dragging them behind cars, and hanging them from bridges, it's just unbelievable. It makes me literally sick to think about it.

I know, I was going to post but I couldn't even type the words to express how I feel. I hope there truly are just a few militants doing these acts but it is hard to be certain. My first reaction was just to pull out and let them figure it out for themselves but then they would be angry for deserting them.

I don't know. There are truly no words for how I feel. I saw a picture on MSNBC that made me sick to my stomach. I just want to get them on their feet as quickly as possible and LEAVE.

Same here Keli. It was so hard to read that today, my little brother will be enlisting in the Marines in July and I worry about where he could be shipped to. (of course I am worried about all of the men and woman over there it just is so much more different knowing my barely 18 y/o brother could possibly be deployed there)

Those people over there should be grateful that we are there to help them.....what can you do though?

I know. My gut reaction is to say, "screw you; fend for yourselves!" and get everyone out of there. It's so maddening.
