Pricing is the same no matter where you physically are when you purchase (cruise or at a sales center). If you purchase on a cruise, depending on the number of points purchased you may receive a ship board credit for use during the cruise.

From what I could remember, you will received extra points every years and also some points add to current years. Also you will receive a bag as a gift. Something like that. I went to DVC member party while our first day onboard this past October.

The additional point offer is for Aulani only. This is available for purchases made on the cruise or on land at a DVC Sales Center.
