Recent Drone Show Viewing Experience?

Can anyone share their firsthand experience with finding a great spot to watch the drone show from? We plan to dine on property and watch the show for our anniversary in a couple weeks. Is it worth it to pay for a spot to watch the show, like at Summerhouse? We have read mixed reviews about the seating and views there.

Any tips and suggestions are very appreciated!
