Recent Dolphin Guests????

Greetings All!!!Anyone back from The Dolphin???We arrive on Sunday Morning and we CAN'T WAIT!!!!!!

We were at the Dolphin for Haloween, and had a great time. The hotel is so conviently located you cannot go wrong. Try to have a dinner at Gulliver's in the Swan. They have a buffet at night that was fantastic. The seafood buffet was delicious. Great for kids as they have a separate kids buffet. When we were there they were working on the 8th floor I believe. I know the 6th was done and the 9th was not, as we moved rooms in the middle. If you can get an Epcot view, grab it. The fireworks were great to watch from the room on nights you are in. No matter what, you will be in Disney and you will have a magical time. Have fun.

We arrive at the Dolphin 1 week from Sunday. I can't wait. This our first time staying in the park.

I never stayed at the Dolphin, but I just booked a air/hotel package for a trip down after Christmas. Cheapest place I could find since I didn't want to pay $459/ night at AKL! I've got my fingers crossed that I like it!!!

We've stayed there several times. Most recently (2 weeks ago) we stayed at the Swan. Love these resorts! You won't be disappointed! ENJOY!!

We stayed at the Dolphin this summer and loved it. The location by Epcot/MGM/Boardwalk is the best! I would try to get a renovated room for the heavenly beds. We weren't in the room during fireworks, but we did have a nice view of the Swan and MGM's Tower of Terror. If you are going to be at the pool much, I would suggest a room on the west wing of the hotel. We were on the East Wing and it was a bit of a walk. Also the Concierage Desk is great at making PS's for you during your stay. I would suggest some of the Epcot restaurants. You don't have to be staying Club Level for this; just walk up to the Concierage desk in the lobby.

I have to agree with all of the above - you will love it!! I bet if you request a recently renovated room, they'll give it to you. We requested this during Halloween, and although there was a huge convention in the hotel, they met EVERY one of our requests.

The concierge was able to get us a character breakfast on the same day that we wanted it - just called that morning and whala!!

Hotel itself was beautiful, staff was really nice and went out of their way on everything!

have an absolutely fabulous time!!!!

P. S. I thought the boat transportation was quite efficient and a lovely break from the buses.
