We're looking for 3 day hoppers from legit sources only (no, not the Chinese companies on ebay) please. First day in the parks will be 12/30.

Anyone found a good discount? We are AAA and Costco members but didn't book a package this time.

The recent deal (essentially free parkhopping) is for after Jan. 4. Call your local AAA office. There is a passport plus ticket that they are selling at the pre-June price increase price since Disney printed the price for the year in a brochure.

My local AAA office insists you can't purchase the AAA tickets without a package - she said she even consulted with the SoCal AAA and they didn't have separate tickets available either. So I'm going to be going with an online authorized seller that sells at a discount - slightly below advanced purchase prices. :thumbsup2 Or seeing if SoCal Costcos have tickets closer to our trip next July.

However, it doesn't hurt to call your local office. I've seen other people post about getting tickets from AAA, and it's possible different clubs in different parts of the country have different availability or policies. You might also get a really nice agent that will sell them without the package. Just don't be surprised AAA says they can't help you. But you might have better luck than me!

I'm I'm Northern CA and we can buy tickets at our local office. And I do know other west coasters have done it as well outside of CA. If you CALL getawaytoday.com they might still have PHs at the old prices left for first use by 12/31. They don't sell them online but many have been able to get them over the phone. There was a thread on here a month or so ago about it.

For folks with kids in college, check to see if the school offers discounts. My son just bought two Park Hoppers from the box office at his So Cal school and saved us about $30 per ticket over what we would have paid through the other discount sources I checked (AAA, Costco, GetAwayToday, etc).

Considering I just paid his tuition bill for the winter quarter, it was nice to get something back.
