On embarkation r
lunch is at cabana
but also in one of the main dinning room ( at least prior to covid
it used to be enchanted
if I remember right I read that menu as quite change can’t find a embarkation menu
if you just cruised was it worth main mining room or Cabana ?

"Is it worth" is a matter of opinion. There is no right or wrong.

Do you want a sit down meal with a waiter bringing you the food or a buffet? My family actually has a tradition of just getting lunch at the pool side quick serve places and enjoying the fresh air and the feel of being on the ship.

We enjoyed the quick service areas as well...especially the chicken tenders!

I dare say the embarkation lunch is not much different than it was on your previous 21 cruises - especially if they were in the last 15 years (my experience base for DC). At least not a significant change, recently. (They did take the buffet out of the dining room lunch years ago).

In September, the variety of offerings was scaled back. But also fewer passengers + supply chain issues. Nothing I usually ate on Day 1 was missing.

I remember having as much shrimp and crab claws as I wanted. Just had to ask for melted butter.

As stated by previous posters, it’s a matter of choice - sit down service or bufffet.

I used to swing by the restaurant, read the menu (posted outside), then head to Cabanas to scope things out. Then decide. Now, I just go to Cabanas.
