Recent cruisers and upgrades

Have any recent cruisers been able to score upgrades at the port or are you still seeing that none are available?

I can tell you right now that on my cruise I'm 99% certain there won't be upgrades available. We are sold out and aren't even listed on the site any more, with about 2 months to go.

We sailed the Fantasy from Dec. 17th - 24th last year, and no concierge upgrades were available when we got there at about 10:30am. Upgrades to non-concierge categories were available, but they were at the same cost as it would have been to upgrade a few weeks prior to the cruise.

No upgrades of any kind on Dream 3/10/17-3/13/17. Sign said full sailing and none available. We arrived at 1030am.

Well it's been a few months, but in September we were able to upgrade from an inside room to a verandah on a Med cruise. But we were about 20 in line at port and it was the last verandah room available. I believe the upgrade was around $800. We were pretty happy because we had done a GTY cat 11 and ended up with a 5a and only paid $2,800 total for two people.
