I have seen a lot of reports in another thread of Cinderella not appearing at all at CRT lately. We visit in a month and will probably cancel of that has become the standard.

So for anyone going in the next month, I'd love to hear if Cinderella was there. What day, which meal?

There’s another thread that discusses this at length, and consensus seems to be that, no, she is not currently appearing. Disney has even changed the language on the website to indicate that CRT is not a character dining experience now. This could easily change at any time, so I’d check back closer to your trip.

I'm not sure if it has been classified a character dining experience since it reopened, since it hasn't been the full experience. Very similar to BOG, as I don't think that's described as character dining either.

I'm trying to find out if this is an occasional issue or if it's the standard now. It was announced when Cinderella returned to the lobby, so I would have expected some sort of announcement of they removed her for everyone.

We’ve eaten there twice since reopening. Cinderella was there both times. Once in September of 2021, and she walked around the front of the restaurant and waved several times throughout the length of our meal. The other time in October, and she was downstairs taking pictures. It seems to be the standard since the beginning of December and people who have asked about it have been told it’s no longer a character meal. Whether that’s temporary or permanent is not clear and I doubt you’ll get a definitive answer from Disney on that.

Oh, I'm quite sure I won't get a definitive answer from Disney. Which is why I'm not asking them. I'm trying to crowd source it here.

I’m going next month, and as two adults (who’ve done CRT as a character dining experience before) it’s not something we’d cancel over, however, it will be nice if Cinderella will be there.

I’ll be there twice in a few weeks, I’ll let you know!
I like your style! We actually went there twice in one day in 2008. Saw the princesses at lunch and Fairy Godmother and the mice at dinner. :)

We were there in the middle of August and she was there. My granddaughter even got her to sign her autograph book. We took lots of pictures with her.
Dinner was good, we had the filet mignon.

That’s awesome

I fanagled 2 trips in one by having different traveling groups for each half 😂😂. Best of both worlds - an adults trip AND a kids trip back-to-back (I did NOT schedule enough sleep, but I’ll sleep when I get home 😝)

We will be there tomorrow so can report. In March she was downstairs taking picture at breakfast before you went to eat.

I blogger I follow on Instagram posted a picture from lunch today, and Cinderella was doing the meet and greet in the lobby! I guess Disney is posting the disclaimer in case they have a staffing issue ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Cinderella is still at CRT (for both breakfast and dinner)

Thanks for the reports everyone! I'm starting to feel better about our odds in January. :)

Could very well be. I also think it's to make sure people understand the other princesses aren't back yet.

Love the plan!

And sleep on a Disney trip is overrated. Plenty of time for that when you get back home!

Ate there last night and Cinderella is in the lobby...sometimes. Which trust me was just as frustrating an answer for us when we went in and the podium was empty and the guy was like she'll be back at 6:55 (our reservation was at 6:10). So the girls just went downstairs after that time to take a picture.

What was more frustrating was that our reservation was for 6:10 and we checked in on the app at the earliest time we could (I think 5:50?) and it said it would send us a text when the table was ready. You know, like every other restaurant. We find a seat by BBB and wait.

And wait. And wait. Finally at 6:25 my husband goes up and asks what's up. Oh, they see we've checked in but they didn't know we were HERE. He was like...isn't that what checking in is for?? They said if you check in on the app you then have to go check in with them too which isn't stated ANYWHERE so we could've just been sitting out there waiting forever.

I'm still pretty mad about it. Dinner was delicious though.

Can someone clarify...... I've only been to CRT post Covid. Last April we saw Cinderella in the lobby but that was all. We have ADR for April. "Returning to full character experience"....... is that more than Cinderella? Are there other princesses that walk around? TIA

The other princesses are returning (to the dining room) next week.
