We're here right now...

Tuesday - Magic Kingdom was almost all walk on, for most of the day. I've never been able to walk onto Splash Mountain or BTM, and we did it at least twice, and not in a row either. Longest wait was for Peter Pan, which was about 20 minutes. The park did look full, but the lines didn't reflect that.

Wednesday - Epcot was a little busier, but we rode Soarin with about a 20 minute wait, twice. And then again using FP, which ended up being a longer wait than the standby line! Nemo, Figment, the World Showcase attractions and Spaceship Earth were all walk on, all day long. The longest wait I saw was for Test Track, which was about 15 minutes. We didn't do Mission Space.

Thurday - AK, though I have nothing to compare it to since this was our first trip to AK, the park seemed busy, but the wait times didn't reflect it. The Safari was about a 10 minute wait, or it should have been. The queue was tiny, but the animals were across the road and caused a delay. Everest was the longest wait, maybe 15 minutes. Dinosaur was pretty much a walk on, as was It's A Bug's Life.

So overall, thus far I've been amazed at how easy things are. I'm sure come the weekend, with F&W and Pleasure Island closing it'll start picking up. We're doing Universal tomorrow and part of Saturday before catching Wishes and Spectro at MK for the midnight closing.

Me and my sister will be arriving on Saturday. Sunday is a do-anything day so before going to MNSSHP that night we thought we would just go try to get a FP for TSM. We've also heard the crowds were slow and it's not very busy in the parks. I really hope it stays like that since this is my first vacation and trip to WDW in 3 years!!!

In August, we arrived at rope drop & waited in line upwards of 30 minutes just to get a FP to TSM. Standby was 60 minutes by 9:15am. Just ridiculous!

We were there from the 6th to the 19th and went on TSM several times, both with fast pass and standby. We were able to get fast passes around 1030am, but they were pretty much gone by 11. Whenever the standby line said 60 minutes, it was more like 30. If the line doesn't start until the inside and if it bypasses most all of the Candyland board on the ground part of the line, then it is really about a 25-30ish minute wait. If the line is coming out the door, then it really is closer to 60 minutes.

We were at AK on 9/25 and were riding on the Safari when a rhino walked onto the road in front of our car.
I wonder if it was the same incident or if that kind of thing happens alot. We have never experienced that before.

Not sure if it was two different incidents or not. We were in line right around noon time, maybe a little earlier. Took about 15 minutes and then things were back on.

the parks were really slow. Tuesday and wednesday were the best days almost no waits. the longest wait was on sunday night for the toy story ride at Hollywood studios 35 min. even though they said it was a 70 min wait, alot of the rides were like that magic kingdom was a little bit busy but epcot and animal kingdom were very slow. the mnsshp was worth the money we walked on to every ride with no wait and the parade was really cool.

on 9/29 we had the same experiance a rhino crossed the road and we drove by it almost within 5 feet from it

We never waited longer than 15 minutes for anything. Splash had a 20 minute posted time, we were on in less than 10. We arrived at 10:20 and by 3:30 we rode, Pirates, BTMRR, Tom Sawyer Island, Jungle Cruise, Splash, HM, Snow White, Small World, Peter Pan, Buzz, TTA, took the train the entire way around the park, and ate lunch at HHouse.

Our trip was 10/1 - 10/6. There were plenty of people in the parks, but no lines

Did MK on 10/1 and 10/3 - longest wait was Peter Pan at 20 minutes. Everything else was a walk-on to a 5 minute wait.

Epcot on 10/2 and 10/5 - did Soarin' with fast passes, but that was also just a 20 minute standby wait. Walked on MS, TT and all other attractions.

HS on 10/4 - TSM had long waits - but we were able to fastpass it twice (fastpasses were gone by 2:30pm). Walked on to TOT, Star Tours, all the shows (didn't do RNR).

AK on 10/6 - 5-minute wait for EE early on, did twice later with fastpasses (standby was still only 20 minutes). Walked on the Safari twice, 5-minute wait for Dinosaur,

If I'm forgetting something, ask - it's all muddled up still....

we had a similar experience at the MK on 10/5. And on 10/3. Epcot on 10/1 was awesome, as was DHS on 10/2. By comparison, yesterday (10/7) at Epcot was a zoo. DHS wasn't bad... but there were several glitches on rides in the morning.

We went tonight for my daughter's 7th birthday. We were so disappointed that it was crowded. Granted, we like it EMPTY, so maybe it wasn't bad relatively speaking, but after reading all these posts, we figured it would be dead. Not so. All the character dinners were completely sold out. We didn't ride much because not only was it crowded, but it started to pour!!! My poor daughter didn't have much of a birthday visit, but we will go back on the 16th for the Halloween party.
