Recent car rental pick ups Terminal C

Flying Southwest to MCO and renting a car. I have the option to change to JetBlue but remembered there are no car rental pick ups in the new terminal. How has that process looked lately? Not sure if I should just stick with original plan for ease of pick up (arriving around 10 pm so want it to pick up asap). Any advice?

From the MCO website:

All on-airport rental companies accept returns in terminals A, B and C and you should return to the same terminal as your departure airline. In addition to renting vehicles in terminals A and B, Alamo, Enterprise, National and Sixt are issuing rental car contracts in Terminal C, Level 6 (Bag Claim) for pick-up in Terminal B, except Sixt which has vehicle pick-up in Terminal C.

if i have skip the counter with alamo can I bypass level 6 and go directly to terminal B. can people coming from C go to A too if skipping counter

yes, theoretically you could go to A, but both of the ways to get from C to the main terminal drop off on the B side, the shuttle on 1 and the APM on 3.
You couldn't go to A with Budget, since they still issue a paper contract that you have to pick up from the kiosk, any of the others and it shouldn't be a problem.
