Receiving check-in information from Vacation Central Florida

If anyone has rented at Windsor Hills from Vacation Central Florida lately, could you tell me how far ahead of time you received your check-in information and code to unlock the door? We've rented from them several times before and usually received this information about a week before the trip. But we check in this Saturday and still haven't gotten anything from them. I emailed yesterday to ask about it but haven't gotten a response yet. I've gotten some of their usual emails advertising specials but not my check-in packet.
 
We usually get it when we pay off our balance at 30 days out. I'd call 407/877-0777 to get it straightened out.

Yes, their rental agreement states that the information will be sent once you pay off your balance (which is 30 days out like you said). This is our 5th time renting from them and we have never received it that early. BUT we usually have had it at least a week before our check-in day. We are three days out from check in and still don't have the information. I emailed them yesterday and got no response. I called earlier this morning and had to leave a message and - again - got no response. I called again just a few minutes ago and finally got to talk to someone. I was told that they now wait until the Thursday before check-in day to send this information so I should get it tomorrow. Their reasoning is that so many people were losing the information and they were having to send it again. Personally I don't care for the new policy but what I am most unhappy about is that - after not sending the information at the usual time - they apparently were in no hurry to respond to my calls and emails asking about it. I think it's understandable that I would be concerned and want to get the matter cleared up sooner rather than be dealing with it while I'm trying to pack for the trip.:(

I agree.

A simple email back that they'll send the information the Thursday before check-in should have been sent so you weren't left wondering. I would have panicked if it were my reservation because we drive and I like to have my folder ready long before Thursday before check-in.
 

Yes, we drive down also and leave on Friday and I do the same thing - pull all my paperwork together into a folder. So not getting this until tomorrow sometime (and she indicated that it could be tomorrow night) is REALLY last minute. I have a million and one other things I'm trying to remember to do at this point - the accommodations part should be nailed down by now and not be a concern.

We finally received ours last night and then received a second email early this morning. So I guess we're good to go. But I sure wish we had gotten it right after paying the balance. And I'm wondering why so many other renters get their check-in stuff so soon after paying their balance. We've never gotten it that early. This time really pushed it to the last minute tho and I really didn't appreciate having to chase it down in the midst of all the other things I've had to do this week.
