I added my brother to my deeds. I was wondering how long it usually takes for him to receive his cards.

He should get his log in shortly. Once he does he get access the digital. It took about 3 weeks from that point for my kids to get their hard copy

He can't order one online unless he's logged in as himself.
That’s what member services said. They said he had to wait until he received it in the mail. He is going to Disney and I was hoping he would have it before he left
They couldn’t tell me how long it usually took.

I would just find the digital card. There will be an expiration on the blue card they send.

So, spin-off question...

My DD is on our membership but she never created her own DVC account. How would she go about that now (after years of ownership) if member services can't help ?

ETA: She was only 18 and doesn't plan our trips, so I didn't think much of it. But it sounds like this could be a future problem.....?????

I think MS can give her the info. But she has to call and get it. She needs her Club ID and her activation code from them.

If they don’t have it, then she should email MA to send it to her email on file. I just don’t think you can get if for you.

This gives her the blue card so she at least has it if she travels without you.

Member Administration, which is a separate menu choice on the member line, is the one to contact for logins. They can look up the activation code for any of the various people who are listed on the deed, and can give it to you over the phone. You'll need your deed number when you call.

MA is not taking calls. It’s only emails. But, last year, MS was able to give my son his info via phone to log in because we knew the account had been created

Maybe it’s different now.

There is an menu option on the phone tree (IIRC, 1 then 6) for website assistance.
