Received the 4-day Hoppers, but I want 5!

Well, the family was stoked today - we received or Disney package via UPS! We originally purchased 4-day park hoppers and that's what we got - BUT, we all want a fifth day now. What's the best way to upgrade? Our tickets are plastic cards with "4-day Park Hopper" printed on the back. What can we do?

You can upgrade at the park. Not positive if you can do it at the ticket sales booth, really dont think you can, but you can definately do on main st. Just make sure you do it before you use the 4th day. You will only pay the difference between 4 and 5 days, although I must add you may be paying slightly more. I do not know how much you paid, or where you got them, but say you got the discounted rate through AAA, costco, or The Disney Store, I believe you will be paying full price once at the park. Your full face value you paid will be applied towards your upgrade. Did you consider upgrading to an AP instead?? Not too much different than the 5day PH.

I would contact whomever you bought them through and see if they can be exchanged before you go. I know you can do that before you have the actual passports, but not sure about after they've been issued. If you can exchange them before you leave, it will only cost you $10 per hopper. If you pay the difference once you're there, I think you will be paying the difference between the pre-ordered (discount) price of your 4-days and the gate price of the 5-days, which is quite a bit higher.
