I received our intimate wedding planning pack via email yesterday. I can't wait to start planning it all out now.

We are thinking of California Grill for a dinner after the wedding and reception, there will only be 6 of us in total (including me and H2B) so we don't want anywhere too expensives or over the top. Can you watch the fireworks from CG??

Yey! Another UK Bride.

I am having an intimate too and am thinking of going to CG for dinner afterwards (13 of us) My EM has advised that we should be able to get PS there to time with the fireworks, so I don't see why they wouldn't be able to arrange it for you.

Have you joined the disneymooners site, there is a whole other world of planning information and ideas available there.

Yup registered there too. With being in the UK need all the help and advice I can get. Apparently there is a Yahoo Disney Wedding website too so may look into that one.

What date is your intimate set for?

I have booked Oct 27th this year at 4pm in the WP & GF.

I planned a surprise engagement at CG back in February (trip report still being finished!) and even though it required a lot of planning on my part (since Disney doesn't offer assistance with engagements anymore, ugh!). The staff at CG were excellent. They allowed me to send them a Cindy engagement music box ahead of time to place the ring in. I contacted an assistant manager and hostess who helped tremondously. From the best window front table in the place, to bringing out the ring on a platter with chocolate script "Will you marry me?", to a congratulatory message in the dessert we ordered, to taking pictures, offering congratulations, etc. If you want to plan anything special, just ask. Yes, Wishes looks great from the CG. Your choice is to stay inside and hear the music and narration as the lights dim at your table, or to go outside on the roof and view it in open air. Call them and let them know, so they can "reserve" a table for you. Congratulations and hope everything goes great!

Thanks alot for that mgpan. I didn't realise I could contact them direct, thought it had to be done through my EM.

Our wedding is this December, how far in advance can I contact them about it?

As far as I know for CG you can call then 90 days out to book priority seating.

Hi Jill

I have printed it all off and am reading through it all at the moment. Our EM is Lynn McKitrick, and from her initial email she sounds nice.

We have now booked Rev. Jack Day to perform our ceremony, he came highly recommended.

I can't believe its only 7 months away though, its going to fly past.
