Keep an eye on your email as I just received a Pin Email from Disney Destinations this morning!

$99 per night, plus tax in a standard room at select Disney Value Resorts for stays most Sunday–Thursday nights 6/15–8/13/11, except 7/3/11.

Ask when you call about great rates
for other room types and Resorts!

I checked the Passholder site and this is $12 cheaper than the AP discount. I want to call later on to see how much the Moderate and Deluxe Resorts would be.

I got the same email this morning, I'm curious as to the Mod price also

there is a link on the bottom of the email and you can book online.

But the rates are:

$149 Moderate
starting at $199 Deluxe (WL and AKL)
starting at $219 DVC (SSR & OKW)

I did price out BWI and the rate was $230 for weekday.

Wish I had gotten this in the past, we usually go in June but decided to go to MNSSHP & F&W this time.

AP rate is a dollar cheaper than this discount for the Moderates.

AP rate for AKL is $182 per night during the week. AP rate for WL is $220.50 per night during the week.

AP rate for OKW is 204.75 per night during the week.

So, this discount in some area's is better than AP rate, but other resort levels the AP rate is better. Interesting.....

We got this same discount pin as well; it comes out to 10% off rack rates, near as I can figure. Not the best pin but it is a pin, which is a nice thing for folks like us who just never get them. And we're not going to be able to use it but we still got a warm fuzzy feeling just getting one. :goodvibes

Could someone tell me where these actually come from? I have been to Disney probably 20+ times and have never received one. If its from Disney Destinations, is that actually Walt Disney World and is there a way to sign up on a mailing list that might land me one eventually?/
Just curious about them

Thanks for any info...

Yes, the pin emails are from Disney Destinations. Are you signed up on the Disney site to have email newsletters and such sent to you? It's anyone's guess how Disney chooses who receives the pin codes. Some have suggested to have a planning video mailed to your home. Some have been generated to certain states, certain zip codes. I specifically know why this email was sent to my email address as it was in my friend's name. Her and I was suppose to go on a trip this past February, but we had to cancel. She registered on Disney's site, had booked the reservation under her name, but had the emails sent to my email address. I called Disney this morning to see if I could use this pin email since it was sent to MY email address, but I can not since my Friend would not be part of the traveling party. CRO transferred me to the Marketing Dept to fix my friends email so I would no longer receive emails generated in her name and they told me that this pin email was generated to those who recently had booked a vacation, but cancelled their reservation.

Isn't this the same time frame as the FD Pin? Interesting that they're still discounting...

I got the same PIN this morning. Come on already! Enough with the summer discounts, I need one for October. A couple of months ago I got 7 PIN code emails for FD good til 8/13. Now this one. But at least they know I'm alive, right? ;)

Thanks for the info. I was registered on their site but was not signed up for newsletters. I changed that and also requested a DVD. Maybe that will help.

Order the free maps, too. Can't hurt, might help. :thumbsup2

I wish I could order the maps. Alas, I live in Canada and can't get them. Only in the US. That totally bummed me out.:headache:

Same here, looking for a pin for late October. I've ordered dvds but can't order maps. Spoke to somebody @ Disney tonight, and no pins under my name for October...

My boys would love your name!!! They are diehard habs fans, (Habs was one of the first words my ex taught my oldest son when he was starting to talk) but only because they take after their father.:confused3 Me, I really don't bother or care but often cheer for anyone but the habs just for fun and spite!:rotfl:

I got one just now. It was something about 5 day/4 night at a value with park hopper and water park option for $457 for the month of September. We are going at the end of September but not sure if it is a better deal than the FD that is out there now.

That sounds like a much better deal! Now I'm wondering if I should wait on booking! :sad2:

If you get the FD can you change to this deal if you get a pin code??

Oh please can someone tell me how to get this pin code. I am in the process of planning a last minute trip to Disney World in June and would love this pin to make the prices a little more bearable at the POP Resort.

I never got an email but had this pin attached to my name, just now. I called and asked them to check and sure enough it was there - saved me $100 on my trip!

Yay more Mickey Bars. :)
