Received Passports!!!!!

I know that Passports may not be needed for our January, 2006 cruise, but they arrived today. This makes our cruise seem so real now. It was to our advantage to have them anyway because our son is active duty Air Force. You never know when he may be overseas and for whatever reason something happens, now we can travel internationally with no problem.

That must be a good feeling. I am about to send away for mine. How long did it take you to get them back?

We applied for them July 20 and received the passports via mail August 22...not bad.

I got my passport yesterday also. I sent for it on August 4. Did not request or pay for expedited processing, but it only took 3 weeks to the day to get it.
DH sent for his on Aug 11, so his should be here next week.
Now that we have passports we really should use them and travel more shouldn't we?!?!!

Kris, yes we should do some high-powered travel. Just think, we could go just about anywhere! Feels great.

I am about to apply for ours as well...we won't need them for this years cruise but will for next years and it's probably better than running around carrying our birth certificates!

We've always had ours but our 3 kids got theirs in January, it's exciting, isn't it! They just love that they have stamps in their passports now from going to Europe this summer.
I've always used ours when we travel, whether to Bermuda, Mexico, or on a cruise just because it's easier to use than carrying the birth certificates etc.
