I realize it's late, but we weren't planning on purchasing into the dvc until next year but when we found about the price increase direct thru Disney we decided to jump on resale. Just got an email our purchase closed yesterday. I need to book our rooms ASAP! I need 2 rooms for late Oct./early Nov. and SSR is fine, (that's our home resort) and I'll need to waitlist for what I want because some of the dates won't be avaialble, that's fine, I understand this. When is the soonest I can call member services to book? 10 days?

When I purchased (18 months ago) I called MS everyday to find out if I was in the system. Some CM told me they couldn't help me until I had a membership number, and some would look it up to find out. Once I got my membership number from them (although I've heard that you must wait now until it is mailed to you but I can't confirm this) I called everyday morning and afternoon to see if my points were loaded yet. You can be in the system, but not have your points loaded and that can take up to 10 days. I think it was about 5 days for me. Like you I was itching to get a reservation in. Good luck to you.

We are members, still it took 9 business days for out BLT points to be loaded. They were loaded last week.
