Received BOG Invitation 24 days out!

We got ours on our 2nd and last MK day, a little too late for us. We had decided not to go anyway as my son is a very picky eater and I didn't think he would like it. Maybe next time

We got ours a couple weeks ago at 28 days before check in as well. For what it's worth we are staying at BLT (renting DVC points.)

I got my invite on 4/14 but I can't get a FP. It keeps telling me nothing is available.

We got ours about a week before our trip. I chose the option to pre-order our meals and bypass the ordering line. My FP reservation was in the system but my order was not. I had to wait behind a very indecisive family to re-order our meals. It was a little disappointing but at least I got to bypass the stand-by line.

Did you have to do something special to get the invite or are they randomly sent out? I keep seeing this question asked but not answered.

Also, do you have to use one of your three available FPs or is it in addition to those?

I think the invites are randomly sent out. I don't know if there is any pattern to the invites thatare sent out. Hopefully someone else can elaborate a little more than I can.

I was able to get a FP+ for lunch at BOG on June 1st. I did not get an invite. I used the link about 3 weeks ago. Had no problems. I'm not able yet to add the link, but if you google it, you'll find it.

It usually is separate from the 3 other FP+ choices.

I just made mine for June 22. No invite. Beourguestlunch.disney.com was the address I believe.

We made our reservation like this also but people are being turned away if they do not have the invite to backup the FP+ reservation. Even when they have a screen print proving they have a FP+ reservation. So I do not hold much hope of actually using our FP+ unless we get the invite to go with it.

I was also told by a CM that the invites are random (similar to the discount pin codes that get sent out). Supposedly there is nothing you can do to ensure you get the invite.

How do they know if you officially received the invite? Do you have to show them the actual email?

Hi everyone, I just wanted to post that yesterday I received my email invite to get a BOG Lunch Fast Pass. My trip is still 24 days out. I had been seeing people post that they got their invitation upon check-in, or a week out, but this is really early! Has anyone else got their invitation more than three weeks before their trip? I had already made my reservations, but I feel better knowing I am offically invited. The email did tell me to use my magic band when I arrived there.

We got an email right before we left home. Didn't make sense to me. Disney wants you to use one of your very limited FP for lunch? Seems a bit cruel! 3 FP and 'hey, use one for lunch.' No Thanks! We had lunch there during the soft opening last year; it was good. We had dinner there two weeks ago, and I was very disappointed in the very limited offerings. The cupcake was good!

Is the BOG invitation something they automatically send out? Or is it something you have to sign up for? Does anyone know if DVC members get this?

I believe it's random. I'm an AP holder and it's the first 'special' thing - if you can call it that- I got!

We leave in 3 days also but haven't received anything. Will we get it at check-in?

It's random. Check your email. We got it right before arrival and didn't use it.

I received an invite 24 hours before I was going to be in Magic Kingdom. I was in Disney at the time, and my email comes to my iPhone. Unfortunately it didn't fit into our schedule, so I couldn't use it. I could be wrong, but with MDE and FP+, they know you are going to be in Magic Kingdom, and if you don't have any ADR's set up for lunch, I think that may be when they are sending them out, to try to get you to eat in the park. I hadn't signed up for anything, but I did search Be Our Guest for dinner MANY times before arriving at WDW, but couldn't ever get a dinner ADR. That could be another reason they sent it for lunch.

I'm a Premium Annual Passholder And have been going regularly, ( from out of State) since 1973 and NEVER ONCE have I gotten a PIN number or any other special perks! I'm not bitter either. I'm just not lucky. Spouse says I used all my luck up when I found him. Maybe he is right!
