I sit with the rest of the country and watch what is going on. I cry a lot just like everyone else. I pray for each and every person defending our nation.

We are starting a campaign on Monday at our high school. I am the secretary to the principal and we have several graduates serving now.

A mom came in on Friday to bring us a picture of Mark who was of a rather "mischievous" student. He was my office aide and just came to see me a few months ago. He wanted to tell me he is getting married and is so glad he joined the Navy. He was ready and believed in the cause of going after nations who harbored and funded terrorist who came to destroy our nation on 911. I am so proud of him because I really did not know what would become of him. While he is not my child, you grow to love these kids because they spend four years with you.

I came across a site that states why we are doing this in case we have forgotten anything.

It is very long but I hope you have time to watch it.
