Patty, thank you posting that for us. You know how I feel. I back wonderful men and woman like your son, who give up so much to protect us. I back our President who does know more than we do, and has to make some awful decisions in the near future. God Bless all of them and keep them safe.

My family thanks your son also. We support the president and our troops 100 percent. Our prayers and thoughts are with you, other families who have family there, and especially the troops. I know your son and the soldiers are doing what is right. I know because of his efforts that my children who are very young will hopefully have the peaceful life that I have been blessed with. Please tell your son for me he knocked me off the fence. I have been trying to be positive about this war but have had some doubts. He has reassured me a great deal and I thank him for that. I think some of my fear is that my son is entering the Army in July. I know this will probably be well over by then but I still have so many fears for him.
