Received a postcard for WDW Resort with a discount code!!

My husband and I received a postcard with a discount code for the resorts for January-February (value season). I was going to throw it away but decided to keep it to see what my husband would say. He looked at it and said that sounds like a good deal, why don't we see if we can go to WDW for the weekend when we come back from Spain (my husband has a business trip in Spain and I am tagging along). WDW here we come!! I am so happy I did not throw away the postcard.

The discount code was for $69 per night for a value resport and we are paying $153 per night for a Port Orleans (French Quarters) and it will be king size bed. If we decided not to get a king size bed it would have been $124 per night at all the moderate resorts. I believe the least expensive deluxe hotel was $205 per night for the Wilderness Lodge and $245 for the Animal Kingdom Lodge and Disney Vacation Rentals. I can't recall all the rest of the pricing for the deluxe hotels. I believe we got on the mailing list because we signed up for information on the Disenyland website for information about Disneyland and WDW and had Disneyland Annual Passport . Also, we went to WDW in January 2006 too. I am not exactly sure how we got it. It was such a nice surprise.

I would check if you have a AAA, their discount was better. We are paying $116 for POR. I believe you have the same code I received. I hope I haven't burst your bubble. Just letting you know about the better discount.
