Received a Fort Wilderness Survey

I received an online survey about my recent stay at Fort Wilderness.

I let them have it about the following:

Not being able to use online checkin with group reservations
Not all being placed in the same loop even though we were a group reservation. (I was specific and even included our Group Number in my comments).
The non-enforcement of golf cart rules re: underage drivers, and non-enforcement of rules about kids on bikes without lights, razrs, etc.
Non-enforcement of multiple cars at sites and loud and rude campers.
The dismal state Trails End has become and told them we need a Food Court.

Unfortunately, there wasn't an opportunity to tell them that they overdid the premium sites and are pricing them out of reach.
 
I always fill out any survey that Disney sends me, how else are they going to get the opinion straight from the people if I dont take the time. Even if they dont use the information, I at least feel like I tried.
 
Errrr, I want my computer back. That last response was from me, not my dd.
 

FYI - I WAS able to do on line check-in with the Group reservation. I just put in the number and it took it.

Wow, I'm shocked. My last two group reservations was unable to do online checkin, but my regular reservations, I was allowed to do online checkin.
 
I had two reservations for August, 1 for DD and SIL and one for us. I could use online for theirs but could not do ours. Called and they said that there are some reservation numbers (major computer glitch) that the system wouldn't recognize..So we didn't do either reservation...With that said when we pulled up to the check in they still had everything ready and it only took 2 minutes for each of us to get through the gate. I don't know how it would have been any faster had we done the online.
 
I hope I get a survey!! The premium rate is soooooo not worth it We pay it but we don't like it. Every time I get asked I let them know it's as much if not more than the value resort and we can get the specials. We still pay for the number of people with us and that adds up. They just don't seem to understand. I keep hoping eventually they will pay attention.
 
Do they only send a proportion of people the survey? I have NEVER received one in all the times I have camped there. I was not able to do on line check in either. I registered and tried 9 times. Each time it said I was not 18 (I wish...). When I got there I was glad it didn't work since there was no dedicated line for it on the Thursday before Halloween. It still took us 20 min or more to check in. We've just started calling that time our lunch time. I get up and fix everyone's lunch, we eat it, and then wait. The fort has never beaten us yet in finishing faster. It's the one thing WDW cannot do right. With such a large enterprise they should be able to streamline this process. After all aren't they the ones who brought us queues and waiting patiently:)
 
I always get a survey from wherever we stay. I have to say, I know in my last one from FW I mentioned that they needed a slide and hottub, especially when the cabins can cost as much as the deluxes and the resort is not considered a Value resort.

The next year it happened....I obviously didn't have anything to do with it, but maybe if they keep getting the same responses, they'll do something.
 
I just rcvd a survey postcard in the mail. We stayed the weekend before Halloween. I agree they should give an alternate dining option, "Food Court" would be great! I was not too happy with the kennel, they informed me that a "Pet Resort" is in the works - should be completed by Oct. 2010. The are doing away with the kennel by the bus stop.
 
I've not received a survey yet- but I left a week later than most of the other GG attendee's. However, after the way I lambasted them on my previous survey, they're probably not interested in what I have to say!:lmao:

When I was at the Studios, I was stopped by a survey taker for my email, and I received a Studios specific survey by email. I filled that out. One of the questions was which resort I stayed in. About two hours after finishing the first survey, I received the 2nd one specifically about Ft. Wilderness.

I may yet get a postcard survey.

Was the survey any different from the postcard type. I have done several of the postcard kind and they don't give you much of a chance to talk off topic of the survey questions. The ones I did just gave you a very limited text box at the end. Not near enough to get everything off my chest.
 
After reviewing the postcard, it states to go on line to take the survey and gave me a password to use. Also, I stated as a Topic - in a thread - don't know where it went? I am new at all of this - anyway - I have received at least 15 reservation confirmations on a deposit I just made for a reservation in Oct. 2010. Today I have received two on the same reservation #?

I got mine and filled it out as well like you Carol. I complained about the underage cart drivers, overpriced site fees and a couple other things. Whoever has to read the returns is probably not going to be a happy CM lol.

Like Donnie, I filled mine out today. I also complained about the underage g/c driving. The overpriced sites. the slow check-in. Lack of fort stuff in the trading posts. Also told them how great halloween at the fort is. Also suggested a New Years g/c parade. Suggested they open the swamp trail back up and make it for g/c's to drive. But they will never read the suveys anyway. But i at least felt good after filling it out.
