Received $64 for Annual Pass Refund, but my pass is still good...?

I just received a check for $64 and change but I didn't ask for my pass to be canceled. It's a Premier with almost a full year left. I heard there was going to be some sort of compensation for water park closure but I see they're still closed.

Any help on what the check is for?

They did give a partial refund for the days the parks were closed...I think about 117 days....unless you wanted the extension of 4 months.

That’s probably the water park refund they have been sending to Platinum Plus (and I guess Premier) since the water parks won’t open until March?

oooo, ok. That makes sense. I wonder how they calculated that odd amount 😛 Better than nothing?

I was just coming over to ask this question, as I also received a refund check (a whole whopping $21.60!) but my Premier pass is still valid and I want it to remain so.

My check was for $12.42 and that seems about right for the water park closure. My Premier pass is still showing in the app at this point, so should be good.

Not to hijack my own thread 😄 , but are new Premier expirations set in stone? Do we get any additional compensation since Disneyland is still closed?

my understanding is that the pass will keep extending on the wdw side until Disneyland opens. You get your days due on the Disneyland end too. the goal is for the 2 passes to end on the same date.

THIS makes me so happy! I'm in CA and I've been asking this question since they first set "deadline" for refund. No one could answer the question...I was hoping!

I saw it in the Disneyland Reopening Speculation thread. Since my AP "expired" a long time ago, it fell off the DL app. When WDW reopened, it reappeared on the WDW app. It should have expired (in late March) and was extended to late July then late August when the extra month was added on. And then it just kept extending each month another month out. Now, it is extended to 2/6, and I expect it will cover my March trip too once it extends more since Disneyland is now a long way off from reopening based on the surging case rates in OC and LA counties. I am also DL local, so I keep track of our local case information closely. Others got emails with some of this information but since my pass was "expired", I no longer seem to get those emails.

I just received an email from Disney AP stating that my refund for the water parks had been processed and mailed to me. Not sure why they waited a couple weeks after the check was mailed to tell me, but at least it explains the check. :)

I just wanted to make sure I understood you correctly, but your DL app no longer shows your premier pass when it expired on its original date but your WDW MDE continues to get extended monthly since it opened up back in July? My DL side is set to expire 1/29 and so I want to be prepared and not freak out when it drops off. If their plan is to keep premier expiration date same for all parks then I'm sooooo happy I didn't ask for a refund.

This is what happened to me. It disappeared off the DL app when it expired in May 2020 and if I try to re-add it, it tells me that it’s not a valid AP. However it did reappear in the WDW MDE and has continued to be extended, as my expiration is now showing 2/10/2021.

this is mine exactly too! Disappeared in may (actually expired late March) and then it came back on the wdw app in July and just keeps getting extended. Mine also shows a 2/10 expiration date. I need it to extend about 5 more weeks so I can book my park reservations for my early March trip.
