We've been to DLP about 7 times, but not been for about 3 years. we've stayed at all of the disney hotels expcept the cheyenne and santa fe and also the holiday inn and explorers. On one occasion we stayed at the Citea Bussy St Georges, this was about 4 years ago and we thought it was great. We're going back again at Easter and looking to stay 'off site' again, it's cheaper and quite nice to feel you are 'in France' for some of the time rather than in a 'Disney Bubble'. Also the train from the park to the B ussy St Georges was quick and cheap and less hassle than the shuttle bus! However the reviews for the hotel are really bad so it must have gone downhill a bit! Anyone recommend anything else?
Thanks

A few of us have stayed @ the adagio ( used to be pierre and vacances)

we liked being near to val d'europe ( and the train) but only a few mins from DLRP :)

its not luxury, but clean and tidy and as they are apartments they have a little kitchen area with dishwasher etc too

they offer a shuttle to the parks ,or the train is only one stop away

we are going back in the summer ,hopefully

Not sure of your budget but I've heard the Marriott Vacation Club is very nice and nearby. They are townhouses as opposed to hotel rooms. We originally booked to stay here at our trip in Sept but changed last min to the DLH for convenience of location.

From my research I'd definately look at it again if (when lol) we go back... There are a few on here who think it's fab - Davewasballoo and Karen Moloney are two I know of....

Yes I do love the Marriott. It is definiately luxury with a beautiful 2 bedroom house that really is a home away from home, a lovely indoor swimming pool (an an outdoor one in the summer), playgrounds, an indoor playroom. But it is not the answer if you are looking for a budget break!

I have also stayed at the Adagio & thought it was great too.

Forgot about the marriott! We went with them for a cheap holiday and were put up at the newport bay on the understanding we went to see the marriott and put up with a bit of 'hard sell'. The apartments/houses were fantastic but can you just go without them trying to sell you one? Anyway I think it would be wasted on us (as I think most of the hotels are) as I drag everyone out of bed at daybreak to spend every waking minute at the parks!
Thanks anyway. Adagio looks intersting, especially as I have lots of clubcard vouchers! The webiste shows no avalability for all of 2009 (!) - I do see elsewhere on here someone has said the webiste isnt good, so have sent them an email asking for price and availablity

lol same as us,we wont / dont spend much on hotel as we arent in it long enough to justify it!

i would ring frenchlife for a quote : 0845 268 0797
