Reccomendations for Birthday Meal for a 1yr. old

There is also Play & Dine at Hollywood & Vine. (I think that is the one with the Playhouse Disney characters). Try and book and off-peak meal if you are concerned about the crowd/noise level - that goes for whatever you end up choosing.

Whatever you decide, try and familiarise your little one with the characters that are going to be present with DVDs, pictures, toys, etc. It is a completeley different story when they approach in full size and is always a bit touch-and-go with a child that age, but if you don't try it you will always wish you had. You know your child best and remember that even so, none of us get it right every time. If it turns out that the presence of the characters unsettle your child, you could always request that they don't approach the table from that point on. They are so familiar with kid's being unpredictable and very sensitive and accommodating.

My little one is going to be celebrating her birthday when we are in Disney. We are having breakfast at Ohana's and then lunch at CRT. My little princess is going to eat with the Princesses

Respectfully, I disagree. Celebrating the life of a child with your family is a beautiful thing. Some b-day parties may seem a little outrageous, but the OP wasn't asking about anything extreme.

I sometimes don't understand why people post unhelpful and unnecessary comments when others are simply asking for help. Sure, we all have our own opinions, but we also know when our opinions really aren't needed.

Thank You! You put into words what I was thinking. My kids also so far have been really gifted and aware of things earlier than other kids, so I just want her to have a fun experience. My two boys both had 20-30 word vocabularies by the time they were 1. Violet already watches Mickey Mouse with much enthusiasm. No she isn't into any other shows. Just stops what she is doing and watches Mickey when its on for her 4 yr old brother.

My daughter's birthday is the 30th. I called today to find out if I can order a cake with no eggs and we can. Each pediatrician differs on food introduction time lines so that may not be a concern for you, but I know many little ones either don't do eggs, or gluten or something or another.

We know all about that. Our DS-4 has numerous food allergies. I plan on letting my daughter try milk and scrambled eggs a week or so before our trip if its ok with her peds. I'd rather find out about allergies while we are still at home.
