Rebooking on board?

Everyone talks about rebooking while on board. Is there a special discount when you do this?

When we were onboard 2 weeks ago, it was a 10% discount and a $200 onboard credit.

Not to mention , that u can usually get the cabin u like , and
have a great feeling when u leave the Ship knowing that u get to do it all over next year.... Peter

How far in advance will the let you book onboard? 1 year? 1 1/2 years?

Just wanted to point out that 10% discount and 200 onboard credit mentioned above applies to 7 day cruises only (At least this was true back in May when I cruised). - Mike
