We just rebooked our Pacific coast cruise (repo) to an Alaskan cruise. So much debate and agonizing went into this. The person coming to mind our farm, now cancelled, is going to Fla in three weeks, then Costa Rica in the spring. It feels like everyone we know is still travelling.
We are not afraid of C19, we are only afraid of testing negative. Would it be better if we caught the virus? We are triple vaxxed. After 90 days would you always test negative?
We looked at European trips that dont require border testing but theres the flight from Toronto. Also many other tour companies dont offer the cancellation policy we need.
So we have rebooked to an Alaskan cruise on the Wonder. Both of us a bit bummed, not the cruise we really want after living through 63 Canadian winters but it means we fly into and out of Vancouver. No visit to DL or San Diego or San Francisco but much less chance of testing positive at the dock.
What will happen when 1:3 people get some form of C19 (and test positive)as predicted by the WHO? Will Disney turn away 1/3 of the booked passengers? I'm not suggesting they let positive people on board, people are still dying after all.
