I can't believe how much I like this show..I never watched it until it became syndicated this year..I'm not into country music but boy is she talented, there is no denying that..I also find it refreshing that she talks about her religion alot on her show and that there are references(EVen though I'm not Christian myself) I think it's pretty neat to see a relatively popular show that shows it as a part of daily life.

I know what you mean! I had never seen her show until it started running on the E! network. It's a pretty good show though, I enjoy it! I like the actor that plays her ex-husband, he makes me laugh!

Yes yes, I too am a Reba addict. They show 4 episodes a day on Lifetime and I'm a little embarassed to admit that we TIVO them everyday. I've seen most of them now, but I'll just watch reruns of the reruns now.....I was bummed when I realized it wasn't coming back this year

I love that show! It was my friday night guilty little pleasure.
The CW network is supposed to bring it back on mid-season. They had better!!

I've known Reba pretty much my whole life. Her dad and my dad rodeo'd together and since Reba was a few years older, she would pretty much baby-sit me.

She came to my high school graduation, and her brother Pake sang at my brother's wedding. I haven't seen her since my grandmother's funeral about 4 years ago though.

She is the most down-to-earth person you could meet.

It actually comes on 6 times a day on our cable system. 4 times on Lifetime and 2 times on another station. I've been tivo'ing the ones that I haven't seen before. My stepdaughter and I watched this show together every Friday night while she was still in high school.

I love this show. It really does remind me of my family though. My parents have been divorced since I was 10 and my dad has been married to my stepmother for 28 years now. She is so much like Barbara Jean that it's not even funny! We love her but sometimes she's too much.

I really hope that CW brings it back sometime this season.

Glad I'm not the only one who loves that show. I have been watching for awhile now. I was glad to see Lifetime pick up the reruns. Now I can watch it every evening. :thumbsup2

Gotta love anyone who can tolerate living next to Barbara Jean! :lmao:

Amen! The scary thing is she is exactly like a best friend I use to have. :sad2: She about drove me insane. Now she is many miles away driving other people insane.

On the religion issue - I like how they portray themselves as a Christian family, warts and all. They don't gloss over the relationship mistakes they've made, but they don't let them keep them from continuing to practice their faith either.

So many people seem to think that you can't be a sinner and faithful at the same time. I think the show sets a good example of how the two interplay at times. I'm having a hard time putting it in to words, but it seems to me I hear people say "what a hypocrite, they say they're Christian, but look at their actions". When you see Barbara Jean on the show, you see her as the "other woman", but you also see her intentions - which, in her over the top way, are good.

I started watching the show first season, watched every episode since and Tivo all reruns (though I don't watch all of them). I think it's one of the best shows out there that doesn't get the recognition it deserves. Plus, I'm a 16 year old who doesn't listen to country music.

I'm a big fan of Reba. I greatly admire her. I watch her show faithfully. I am also a big country music fan too though.

OMG, I love her! I was home sick a few weeks ago and I watched her show and the one that came on before it, Still Standing, on Lifetime. I lmao throughout both. She's really talented. :) I admit to knowing virtually nothing about country music, but I think Reba has one of those personalities that is very likeable...sort of like Dolly Parton. You don't have to know her music or even really relate to her to like her.

:thumbsup2 I never saw this show before either until it came on Lifetime in the afternoon!

I    IT! Barbara Jean CRACKS ME UP! :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl2:

:confused3 Why has this show been sooooooo quiet for sooooooo LONG??? :confused3

This is one of my favorite shows. Makes my family look normal compared to her's. I've got the first 2 seasons on DVD, and watch an episode or two whenever I need a good laugh

Does anyone know now that the WB/CW, whatever it is now, has changed their Friday lineup where and when the new season is going to be? According to the website there will be a new season, but I haven't heard anything about it

You know, I never knew it existed until a few months ago, and my daughter is totally hooked on it and Tivo's it everyday too.

Love it! I watch the re-runs on Lifetime and CW all the time. It's a well written and hilarious show :thumbsup2

Barbara Jean and Van both crack me up with their ditziness :p

I love this show. It is one of the funniest sitcoms and makes me really laugh every time.

There are so few sit-coms anymore and none that you can actually laugh out loud to :goodvibes . Except Reba!
