Hope everything went ok for you today. :grouphug:

Sara. :)

Carol i really hope everything went ok. Let us know how you got on. Sending you lots of :grouphug: and :wizard:

Thank you, Thank you and Thank you again for your kind wishes, pm's etc, well, as a usually level headed person who has advised her friends on more than one occassion to 'not panic until you know you have to' I must admit its different when the boot is on the other foot! I knew deep down it was probably a blocked milk/sweat gland or a cyst or something but my mind went kind of black when I found it. Doctor was very reassuring, I have antibiotics to take for a week but must report back to him as soon as it gets bigger or isn't getting smaller! It was quite good to know they do take it seriously and although I mentally rewrote my will a dozen times whilst sitting in the waiting room I'm glad I've got nothing to worry about.
Many thanks again

Excellent news Carol ~ Glad everything is ok :grouphug:

I'm so pleased that all went well. Keep us updated on your progress :grouphug:

Sorry I've only just read this thread Carol a little late to be thinking of you during your worrying day but I'm so glad you feel a lot better now that you've been to see the Doc. Hope the anti biotics sort it out for you.

I'm sorry I've got to this late as well, Carol. Pleased to hear that it is not serious, and hope the antibiotics clear it up quickly :grouphug:

Excellent news and pleased that the doctors were responsive and sensitive :grouphug:

Great stuff - take care :grouphug:

Easier said than done to say not to worry. My wife and I are both nurses, I am a mental health nurse, (neck up) and my wife is a proper nurse, general trained. She is also a sister in outpatients and deals with breast problems on a daily basis. Most turn out to be harmless fybroadenomas, (lumps of fatty tissue in the breast) or cysts. :thumbsup2
