Brother will be at WDW early Feb he has 5 kids so a total of 7 people. What would be a good option for cheap/resonable accomidation for three nights?

How about 2 rooms at Pop, or All-Stars? If one of the children is under 3, you could get a cabin at Fort Wilderness, and have a kitchen to save on food.

For just a few nights (and if the kids are young), they perhaps they could all pile into a suite at DOUBLETREE SUITES near Downtown Disney. Separate bedroom with (I think) two double or queen beds and then a very spacious iving area with sleeper sofa. Throw in an Aero inflatable bed and a sleeping bag and you could probably swing it, if the kids are ok with "camping out" in a hotel! See if there are any specials on the Hilton website since Doubletree is a Hilton brand.

I would look into renting DVC points, and staying at one of their home away from home resorts. Not only are they very nice, but they include cooking facilities, which with 5 kids could be a lifesaver!

Check out the DVC boards for more info - we started doing this, and we'll never go back!

Check one of the Marriott's, especially Grande Vista or Cyprus Harbor. Great places and large villas, a two-bedroom will be perfect.

Also, if it is available and they are staying for 5 nights, there is a visa/Disney package for about $1200 with tax for a five night stay in a two-bedroom villa with two adultl four day Magic Plus tickets. (worth about $260 each). That brings the price of the room to about $126/night for a two-bedroom villa with all the amenities. We booked one for the second week of February.

What, exactly is the visa/disney package? I haven't seen that one? Is it for certain dates? We have a family of 5, and would love to stay in a 2 bdr. villa. The price seems great for a 5 night stay... Are you able to stay more nights, like, say , 8 or 9?

Another option would be to rent a vacation home offsite. I've heard great things and seen great rates for All-Star vacation homes, many even have private pools for not much more than two rooms at a value resort. you'd have to weigh onsite benefits against this, but it's a thought.

Will your brother have a car?

There are some awesome places off-site that they could stay that have great rates compared to on-site but I usually only recommend off site if you have a car. But that's just me. (Actually, DH and I use the van even when we are on-site) Lots of places to check..........I like the villadirect.com site. YOu can search under all of your criteria. Windsor Palms gets high marks on the "Orlando Hotels" section of this board. If you want to post over there you will get even more info for off-site.

This is a house in WP.........Just check slide show and see every room. This is $160 a night.

Here is a villa, for example, it is $115 a night.

Here is one for $105 a night.

These are just a few examples of thousands of places. WP is close to the parks as are many other developements.

And then there is always the timeshare route.......renting one of those. You can usually find a two bedroom for under $100 a night, but you might want a three bedroom............how old are the children? That would make a difference.

Just let me know if you need more info for off-site.

If they want to stay on site, the cheapest option is two rooms at a value resort ($154-$218 a night depending on when in Feb. your brother is going) and that would give you two bathrooms............that's a must. :) Two rooms at a moderate would work also(at least $268 a night).

Oh, I forgot about Ft. Wilderness Cabins............depending on how many fit in there. That would be like $239 or something.

How about the Nick Hotel. With a AAA discount you can sometimes get a room for about $170 a night. Its pretty close to Disney and has all the Nickleodeon things too and it like a small water park.

Or you could do two value resort rooms.
