Reasonable hotels in or near Destin

Can anyone recommend a hotel in or near Destin that doesn't cost a lot or have a minimum length of stay? An ocean view is preferred. I'm hoping to find something less expensive than a condo for my daughter and her friends.

Stay up the coast in Navarre. Less people and empty beautiful beaches.

I live in Niceville across the mid-bay bridge from Destin. I cannot think of any hotel in Destin that is beach front unless you want to spend $$$ at Henderson Park Inn. There is a Hampton Inn, Comfort Inn and an Embassy Suites that are across the road from the beach. They all seem nice and clean. Or try Okaloosa Island (west of Destin) the Ramada Inn is beachfront there.

As much as condos are....I have found that they arent much more if your stay is over 3-4 days or more....vs comfort inn type hotels on the beach, imo....overpriced in destin.....this is because availability is higher for condos so you may find pricing very reasonable....that being said the Sandestin Golf & Beach Resort can be a good deal, depending on length of stay the rate goes down per night....they have hotels and condos available.

I've stayed at the 4 points by Sheraton destin- fort Walton beach in an oceanfront view room. It was very nice and less expensive than the destin condos.

I love the Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. Have stayed 3x, twice in a studio and once in a 1 bedroom.

Fort Walton beach is cheaper-mostly condos-except one mentioned above

we stay AFTER aug 15...that's when prices drop
in Destin...on Holiday Isle
